The 10 Unknown Sequels of Hit Movies

Did you ever see a movie, while it should not really ever felt? When it finally, you were asked for more? Well, the best films and series from really making a lot of sequels. However, there are so many film fans unaware of the fact that sequels of sequels, so that never managed to leave a mark. Let us review some hit movies unknown sequels.
1. French Connection 2
French Connection Gene Hackman as spies who were nicknamed Popeye and Cloudy and Roy Scheider stars is an Academy Award-winning thriller. A French criminal to Fernando Rey. 4 years later, in 1975, French Connection 2. Hackman and the sequel to the film, known as the back for the sequel to Rey, but they were only returning member. The film is well executed, but it failed to go anywhere near the popularity of the first film. Many other well-known films that have little effect on the sequels are left to the audience that he finally lost. 2. Cruel Intentions 2 and 3

In 2000 came the lesser known prequel, Cruel Intentions 2, starring Robin Dunne, Sarah Thompson, Amy Adams and Keri Lynn Pratt, which was a direct-to-DVD. The 2004 sequel, Cruel Intentions 3, had no relation with the first two movies. Both the prequel and the sequel went almost unknown in public eyes.

3. Return to Oz

1939 The Wizard of Oz, Judy Garland, starring the all time most popular of musical fantasies, and has been adapted to make the novel films of L. Frank Baum,, this one has become more popular. The result came out after 46 years of confusing everyone. Oz told Dorothy back as 1985 introduced the film named Fairuza Balk. Perhaps it was the result of a variety that is considered a better adaptation of the novel by fans, but the group is not beyond popular.

4. Dirty Dancing 2


Dirty Dancing: The Havana Nights more original 1987 released a re-thinking, Dirty Dancing, Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze, still romantic as a favorite in this old movie coming popular starring Spirit, 2004 dance drama had gone. Reboot, however, tanked. It's the same story line again, but was set against the backdrop of the Cuban Revolution. Romola Garai and was included in the film to portray the lead actors Diego Luna.

5. Son of the Mask


This is called stand-alone sequel to the highly successful film The Mask Jim Carrey stars in 1994. As a result, the mask options are inherited by a child born to a cartoonist. This is a less mature tone with a little dark humor. The film was released in 2005. But it probably got no viewership, and for good reasons, really. It not only received extremely negative reviews, but the Golden Raspberry Award for worst remake or link.

6. I Know What You Did Last Summer sequels


In 1997 came the widely-known slasher film, I Know What You Did Last Summer, starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe and Freddie Prinze Jr. a year later came the sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, with the previous actors reprising their roles of the four friends. In 2006 came the unknown third sequel, I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer. None of the original actors returned for the direct-to-DVD release.

7. Dr. Dolittle 3 – 5


After the 1967 musical film Doctor Dolittle, Eddie Murphy portrayed the eponymous character in the 1998 hit comedy, Dr. Dolittle, and the 2001 sequel, Dr. Dolittle 2. And then came the unknown sequels, starring Kyla Pratt as the new Dr. Dolittle. The movie came out in 2006. Then came Dr. Dolittle: Tail to the Chief in 2008, and then Dr. Dolittle: Million Dollar Mutts, or Dr. Dolittle: A Tinseltown Tail in 2009. Both these were direct-to-DVD releases.

8. Mean Girls 2


The hugely popular 2004 teen comedy movie stars Lindsay Lohan, and features a Tina Fey, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, Amanda Seyfried, and Lizzy Caplan, as well as Tim Meadows, Ana Gasteyer and Amy Poehler, as the supporting cast. But its 2011 sequel/spinoff, starring Meaghan Martin and features Jennifer Stone, Maiara Walsh, Nicole Gale Anderson, Claire Holt and Diego Boneta, with Tim Meadows as the only returning cast member, remained an unknown television film.

9. Home Alone 4 and 5


They should have stopped when the popularity of Home Alone 3 of 1997 was miles away from that of the first two movies of the series, in 1990 and 1992, starring Macaulay Culkin. But, they didn’t learn their lesson, and went on to make television films Home Alone 4: Taking Back the House with Mike Weinberg as Kevin McCallister, in 2002, and Home Alone: The Holiday Heist, starring Christian Martyn as Finn Baxter in 2012. No one even knew of or saw these two. And for good reasons.

10. Legally Blonde 3


Legally Blonde Legally Blonde is the third sequel of the series. Unlike the first two, Reese Witherspoon, actress Elle Woods, a third of Camilla and Rebecca Rosso as Isabelle and Annabelle Woods, funny and intelligent twin cousins of Elle UK. The film directed by Witherspoon and was targeted towards a younger audience than the first two films. The film, released in 2009, six years after the legally blonde 2, but IDs are verified.
